राष्ट्रीय किसान दिवस के अवसर पर उत्कृष्ट बागवानों को किया गया सम्मानित
भा.कृ.अनु.प.- केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ ने दिनांक 23 दिसंबर 2021 को राष्ट्रीय किसान दिवस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। जिसमें भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद के भूतपूर्व उप महानिदेशक (उद्यान) डॉ.एच.पी. सिंह मुख्य अथिति एवं डॉ. ए. के. जौहरी विशिष्ट अथिति थे। कार्यक्रम में श्री उपेन्द्र कुमार सिंह (सचिव अवध आम उत्पादक एवं बागवानी समिति लखनऊ), श्री राय अजयपति राय (प्रगतिशील किसान) एवं अन्य अथितिगण भी उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम में 150 से ज्यादा छात्रों, उद्यमियों एवं किसानों ने भाग लिया।
इस अवसर पर डॉ.एच.पी. सिंह ने किसानों को विज्ञान एवं तकनीक आधारित खेती द्वारा आय बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया। श्री उपेन्द्र कुमार सिंह आम के विपणन के संस्थान के प्रयासों की सराहना की। प्रगतिशील किसान श्री राय अजयपति राय ने बताया कि गैर-मौसमी फसलों को अपनाकर किसान अपनी आय को दोगुनी कर सकते है । संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. नीलिमा गर्ग ने कहा कि किसानों की उद्यान फसलो के प्रसंस्करण द्वारा किसानो कि आय को बढ़ाना समय की मांग है। कार्यक्रम के दौरान डॉ.एच.पी. सिंह द्वारा अनुसूचित जाति उपयोजना के 10 एवं फार्मर फर्स्ट परियोजना के 10 किसानों को उत्कृष्ट कृषक सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया। किसानों ने पुरस्कार प्राप्त कर संस्थान के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।
ICAR-Central Institute of Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow organized National Farmers Day programme on December 23, 2021. The former Deputy Director General (Hort.) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Dr. H.P. Singh was the chief guest and Dr. A.K. Johri was Special Guest of the programme. Shri Upendra Kumar Singh (Secretary, Avadh Aam Utpadak Bagwani Samiti, Lucknow), Shri Rai Ajaypati Rai (Progressive Farmer) and other guests were also present in the programme. More than 150 students, entrepreneurs and farmers participated in the programme
On this occasion Dr. H.P. Singh emphasized on increasing the income of the farmers through science and technology based farming. Shri Upendra Kumar Singh appreciated the efforts of the institute for marketing of mangoes. Progressive farmer Mr. Rai Ajayapati Rai informed that farmers can double their income by adopting off-seasonal crops. Dr. Neelima Garg, Director said that the need of the hour is to increase the income of the farmers by processing the horticulture crops of the farmers. During the programme, Dr. H.P. Singh honored to 10 farmers of Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan and 10 farmers of Farmer First Project for Utkrisht Krishak Samman. The farmers expressed their gratitude towards the institute by receiving the award.
